Cleveland Roots

Your next opportunity to volunteer in the community is during National Volunteer Week on Saturday, April 29 at Cleveland Roots, a local organization that is working to eliminate food deserts, improving accessibility to fresh produce and promoting healthy living.

We will help prepare the main greenhouse for the growing season, scraping, prepping and painting the wooden surfaces of the structure.

Be sure to wear comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting dirty and closed toe shoes. This project is for volunteers age 14 and up. 

Parking is available on the street, around the center.
