Join us for the straight talk on making films in Cleveland as local filmmakers Eric Swinderman (BA ’05), Amy Tankersley Swinderman (BA ’01), Joe Siebert, Kelleigh Miller and Lillian Pyles each share lessons learned locally.

The first 50 people to register will receive a free ticket to the Cleveland International Film Festival when they arrive for the talk.

The Swindermans got their start in filmmaking as enterprising college students at CSU. They’ll talk about their experience of writing, directing and producing the 2013 anthology film “Made in Cleveland,” the largest independent film ever produced by local filmmakers. It was a Best Picture Nominee at the Great Lakes International Film Festival.

Siebert’s latest film, “The Sax Man,” won best Ohio film at the 2014 Cleveland International Film Festival and screened at more than a dozen other festivals around the country.
