Senior Series

The CSU Alumni Association and the 1964 Society are hosting a series of events to help students get prepared for that next step and life after CSU. Join us for one or all of the events and gain insight from CSU faculty, staff and alumni. Students who attend these events will be entered into a raffle for a prize drawing at the end of the semester.

CSUAA Grad Party
05/11, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. | MM Lawn (MM 1st floor rain location)
At this party, graduating seniors gather with their family and friends at the home of the CSU Alumni Association (Mather Mansion) for a huge barbecue, games and live entertainment. Graduating seniors, our newest alumni, also receive a special welcome gift from the Alumni Association at the party.

LEVERAGING LINKEDIN
In this training session, you'll learn how to build your personal brand online using LinkedIn for career success.
2/7 session will be for international students
2/23 session will be for beginners
3/23 session will be more advanced

WAKEUP CALL
The purpose of this event is to make sure students are ready for the Career Fair or any internship, coop, or job. There will be stations with members from the Career Services team, giving students the chance to get their resumes reviewed, advice and tips on cover letters, and one-on-one mock interviews.

ALMOST ALUMNI DINNER
At these dinners, you'll have the unique opportunity to network with alumni over a three course meal while discussing various topics that relate to life after graduation.

DRESS FOR SUCCESS
This is a fashion show with commentary on what students should and should not wear to the Career Fair. There are also tips on how to be
successful at the Career Fair.


VIKE-2-VIKE
This is a new initiative on campus that pairs CSU students with CSU alumni for professional development experiences. During the month of March, students will have the opportunity to go to work with an alumnus for a half-day job shadowing experience to learn about a field, company, or specific job.


CHA-CHING

5 UNDER 35
This event provides a forum for current students to gain insights on life as a professional from young alumni in a panel discussion format, as well as networking opportunities with successful young alumni.
