Explore the Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve, an 88 acre peninsula located on Dike 14, a river dredge disposal facility which closed in 1999. After it was closed, nature starting claiming the landfill and it is now a premier location for wildlife viewing in Greater Cleveland.

The terrain can be uneven so sturdy shoes are recommended. Dress for the weather and remember it's often cooler near the lake. Bring binoculars if you have them. Wear long pants as we may be going through areas that could host ticks.
