Looking to get in the St. Patrick's Day Spirit?! Bummed about the absence of a parade? Grab a green beer (if you're 21 or older) and come join the Cleveland State Young Alumni Council as Chef April Thompson, personal chef to many of Cleveland's top athletes and founder of Wild Thymez Personal Chef Service, leads attendees through a virtual cooking class to create a delicious Irish dish all while benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Ohio!

Join us on Tuesday, March 16 from 6:30-7:30pm as Chef April leads attendees through a fun experience in making Reuben inspired flatbread pizza!

The minimum cost to register is $5. All contributions collected will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Ohio. RMHC NEO helps families stay near medical care their sick or injured children need by providing families with a homelike environment at no cost.

Here is the list of ingredients you'll need to purchase in advance and have ready for the cooking class!

Reuben Inspired Flatbread Pizza Ingredients:

  • 5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cups shredded Brussel sprouts
  • Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. pickling spices
  • 1 small red pepper, thinly sliced
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¾ cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
  • ½ cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
  • 6 ounces shredded corned beef
  • 1 package pizza dough or prepared pizza

Thousand Island Dressing Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup minced red onion
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
