MOCA’s iconic new building opened in 2012 and is well worth a visit. Our Viking tour will take in Xavier Cha: abduct, a newly commissioned video installation that opens the day before we arrive. Cha’s performance-based works concern the body, self, and subjectivity within contemporary culture. She isolates elements of expression and communication, creating bare, abstract, and often illogical experiences.
