YAC Viking Brunch

Calling all Vikings! Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 30 from 11:00 a.m-2:00 p.m to reconnect with your fellow young alumni at Lakewood Truck Park (16900 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, OH 44107) for our annual Viking Brunch, hosted by the CSU Young Alumni Council (YAC)! Don't miss out on food trucks, drinks, giveaways and camaraderie for a cause with fellow Vikings!

Join us as we will be collecting donation items for the Refugee Donation Drive being coordinated by the following organizations: Center for Refugee and Immigrant Success (CRIS), Tutoring and Academic Success Center (TASC), and Student Government Association (SGA). Items will support refugees from Afghanistan, Ukraine and refugee families from around the world. We encourage all attendees to come and bring items to help those in need. Below is the current list of items.

• Canned goods and nonperishable food items: Beans, vegetables, soups, chili, peanut butter, coffee, tea, etc.
•  Backpacks/clothing in child and adult sizes: Bookbags/backpacks, pillowcases, shorts and pants, shoes, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, gloves, business casual attire (all brand new or very gently used)
•  Toiletries: Sponges, toilet paper, toothbrushes and toothpaste, deodorant, combs and brushes, soap and towels of all sizes
• Toys for younger children: All brand new or very gently used
• Visa gift cards: Varying denominations

Our Viking Brunch is a great opportunity to network, meet new people and hear more about the Young Alumni Council. You can always get involved and join the YAC! Membership applications are open and available online.
