Calling all leaders and aspiring leaders who want to explore the secrets of strategic communications and use storytelling for greater impact. Whatever your life’s work, you can inspire others--colleagues, clients, volunteers, a potential employer, or even a hoped-for recruit--by engaging them with compelling stories. Join us as we dive into the fun and power of strategic communications, with a spotlight on how to uncover and share our most powerful stories.

Having served as a nonprofit executive, Sophie Wadsworth’s leadership coaching and training combine strategic messaging and personal branding with her work as a storyteller. During this workshop, she will guide you to discover (or re-envision) your most powerful mission-centered stories and how to leverage their power in your work. You’ll discover new ways to win the hearts and minds of your stakeholders, clients, colleagues, funders, and community leaders.

You will learn how to:

  • Identify and map out your most powerful stories
  • Emotionally engage and inspire your listeners
  • Deliver anecdotes and stories with confidence
  • Leverage key ingredients to make your communications memorable
  • Prepare your presentation and stories for any length, format, or audience!

You’ll leave with practical techniques to find and craft stories that position you to thrive in your current role-- or successfully pursue a new challenge.

About the facilitator: Sophie helps leaders engage their teams and audiences through inspiring communications, stories, and public speaking.
