In a career that has spanned more than 25 years in various industries, Bruno Biasiotta, bachelor of business administration ’85, has earned a reputation for formulating and executing strategy, driving results and creating high-performance leadership teams.

As chief executive officer and president of The GNA Group, he assists middle-market and start-up organizations focused on sustainable profitable growth. 

Before joining GNA earlier this year, Mr. Biasiotta served for three years as president and CEO of Philips Lighting – Americas, where he led efforts to leverage the synergies of the company’s Lamps, Control, Consumer and Professional Luminaries organizations to drive market share.

He was named Man of the Year in lighting during his first year at Philips – a testament to his ability to drive change in an industry being transformed by LED technology. He was also featured in the New York Times bestseller The Force by David Dorsey.

During many years with Johnson Controls Inc., Mr. Biasiotta held regional, national and global leadership roles in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, including vice president and general manager of the service and commercial businesses and vice president and general manager of building efficiency.

Born in Italy, he holds dual American and Italian citizenships. He is married, has three children and lives in Wisconsin. 

As a CSU student, he was a member of the Viking soccer team.
