Peter Lilienthal, master of education ’70, has enjoyed success as a senior finance, strategic planning and administration executive for such organizations as The Toro Company, Jostens Inc., Tonka Corporation and Munsingwear Inc.
In 1991, he founded Management Communication Systems Inc. Under his leadership as president and chief operating officer, the firm developed a unique proprietary product called IN TOUCH ® that has been successfully marketed to a client base that includes FedEx, State Farm, GoDaddy, IKEA, Ferro Corporation, Medical Mutual of Ohio, Exide and more than 150 colleges and universities. The company has been featured in numerous periodicals, including The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, HR Executive, The Corporate Board, Communications World and PR News.
His career also includes six years as vice president for finance and operations at Hamline University.
A popular speaker on corporate ethics and employee feedback systems, Mr. Lilienthal has published many articles on these topics. He holds a master of business administration degree from The Harvard Business School and lives in Minneapolis. He is a board member and volunteer for several not-for-profit agencies and a contributing food and restaurants editor for MPLS-ST. PAUL magazine.
