A lot of Pride

The past few weeks have been filled with a whirlwind of activity—from students returning to campus, to alumni returning for Homecoming, to the Investiture of CSU’s 7th President Harlan Sands. I can’t recall a previous time when so much has occurred on campus in such a short period of time—all of which would make you proud to say you’re a Viking.

Check out the video from Homecoming for a quick look at the fun. The week truly offered something for everyone. If you were one of the hundreds who returned for an event during the week, thank you. We hope you continue to come back. If your schedule didn’t permit your participation, we’re more than happy to welcoming you back to campus at a time that’s convenient. There’s rarely a day on campus where you can’t find something fascinating going on.

The Investiture of President Harlan Sands was truly special.  The pomp and circumstance surrounding such a celebration is something to marvel. Previous presidents, deans, dignitaries from near and far, colleagues from across the country, alumni, faculty/staff and students joined in on the many celebratory events that marked this milestone. I encourage you to watch the President’s speech to learn more about him and his aspirations for CSU.

CSU is the place to be. You can beam with pride of all the good occurring at your alma mater.

Go Vikings.
