Distinguished Alumni Awards dazzles

Hometown hero and CAVS superstar Lebron James once said: "In Northeast Ohio, nothing is given. Everything is earned. You work for what you have."  Truer words have never been spoken when it comes to this year's 10 Distinguished Alumni Awards honorees, whom we celebrated at this year's annual Homecoming gala.  Yes, they exemplify that homegrown grit and determination that comes from hailing from Northeast Ohio, but they also embody everything about Viking community.  Hard work. Character. Excellence. Pride.  We are, once again, inspired by their accomplishments, and encouraged by the impact we Vikings are making on the region, the state and beyond.
